Power Plant: Construction, Maintenance, HV AC/DC Converter Station, Substation & Retrofit
Hawkeye offers complete generation facility construction and maintenance support---from green field construction to maintenance and retrofit services. Retrofit services include the installation of systems to improve plant performance such as; IC turbine water injection systems to improve plant output, to piping and component replacements. The skills offered by our Gas, Electric (Inside and Outside Trades), and General Construction areas are combined to offer the following services:
- System refurbishment and upgrades
- Site development including clearing, grading, excavation, drainage, foundations, manholes and ducts, erosion control measures, etc.
- Complete electrical and mechanical installation including control and instrumentation installation, testing, and start up, switchyards, switchgear, piping and tubing, etc.
